What are series classes, and why should I enroll in one?

If you’ve been to our studio, you likely attended what we consider our “weekly classes”. Weekly classes are our foundational service. Anyone who purchases a class entry and meets the skill requirements can attend any of these weekly classes at any time, and does not have to attend the same class each week. This is meant to be flexible with schedules, what your body wants to do that week, and allow you the freedom to choose what days and times you want to attend any given month. While you will naturally progress with weekly classes, it will be casual progression. Which is perfectly fine and encouraged!

Series are structured to provide a stronger focus on the topic at hand.

Series classes are different from weekly classes. Series classes are intended to be taken like a traditional college course – multiple weeks in a row, at the same date/time each week. There is a topic focus area, and your movement knowledge, understanding, and progression will build each week of the series.

Because of this, series classes are perfect for someone who wants to progress more quickly, or study a certain type of movement apart from casual classes. Series are typically designed with a goal in mind, whether that be an in-depth understanding of a certain style, a specific pole skill (like inverting), or preparation for a performance.

Welcome to the Ascension Academy of Strip Secrets (A.S.S.)

This four-week series is an in-depth exploration of all things exotic dance and sensual movement.

With a different polefessor each week, you’ll get to learn their specialties and work on leveling up your sexy skills – whether for stage or at home. This includes pole work, floorwork, heel work, and more. Beginners are welcome and more experienced students will be given appropriate extra credit assignments. Some pole experience is recommended.

During your studies and various projects, you’ll learn ways to slink and sensually move while removing layers.

You’ll also get to explore your sensual self with the following questions:
What are your main concerns/what makes you nervous about exotic and sensual dance? What are your favorite assets that you want to showcase?

This is a special multi-week series, and attendance at all 4 weeks is encouraged.

Please look for a required materials list in your email 1 week prior to first class.

Any additional materials are included in your tuition.

After satisfactory completion of the course, attendees will receive a diploma to show pride in their achievement.
